Dr. Robin Schaffran

Dr. Robin Schaffran is a board-certified dermatologist who has been practicing in Beverly Hills, California for over 20 years. Honored as one of LA Magazine’s Top Doctors, Dr. Schaffran is an expert in medical, pediatric, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Dr. Schaffran did her undergraduate studies at McGill University and received her medical degree with honors from the University of Toronto. She went on to get her Internal Medicine training at the Beth Israel Hospital of Harvard Medical School and subsequently completed her Dermatology residency at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon.

Known for her honest and academic approach, Dr. Schaffran is committed to providing the highest level of care for her patients using the most advanced techniques and the latest technology. She provides individualized and personal attention in order to accommodate each patient’s unique needs and she is committed to improving the quality of life for patients with disabling skin disorders.

Dr. Schaffran provides comprehensive medical, pediatric and cosmetic dermatologic services services. She specializes in full-body skin cancer screenings and provides surgical expertise for skin cancer and mole removal. She treats a wide range of dermatologic medical conditions such as acne, rosacea, eczema, warts, psoriasis and infections in all ages (infants, adolescents, teens and the elderly). Dr. Schaffran has a particularly calm and friendly approach, putting all of her patients at ease. She enjoys educating her patients about their skin problems and treatments so they can make informed decisions about their care.

For her cosmetic patients, Dr. Schaffran is known for her conservative approach and will never suggest any unnecessary procedures. She believes patients should try to look refreshed, healthy and good for their age without the “overdone” look. She offers a full spectrum of minimally invasive cosmetic procedures including laser resurfacing, laser treatments for brown spots and redness, chemical peels, Botox and Juvederm.

Dr. Schaffran is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology. She is a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the Society for Pediatric Dermatology, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She maintains hospital privileges at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

When she’s not in the office, Dr. Schaffran enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 daughters, hiking and cooking gourmet meals for her family.
